QotD: Talk To Me

Wow, what a great question, because I have the perfect answer for it!  The country i'm a little crazy for is Morocco.  My boyfriend and all of his family are from Morocco and they all share a VERY sexy accent.  Moroccan is a mix of Arabic and French and i think some Spanish influence.  I just got back from spending the weekend with all those loud Moroccans.  :)  I understand very little of what Omar's family says, but i find myself mesmerized by their fast,  seductive language. I remember when Omar and I first started seeing each other I had a hard time understanding what he was saying.  We spent a lot of time getting lost in the translations.  i am trying very desperately to learn a little Arabic.  Oh my goodness the pronunciation is so hard.  When I first was exposed to it, it all sounded like noise all mushed together. But now i have a better time deciphering the words and phrases.  I would love to be fluent one day!!  Then i could really get to know Omar's family.  Once he told me that a  friend of his was having a heart to heart with his mom and he wasn't invited.  It made me really want to learn Arabic so I could hopefully, have a conversation with all the women in his family.
